A public hearing is being held tonight to talk about a proposed noise ordinance in the city of Royal Oak.
Mt. Clemens has already approved a tougher noise ordinance designed to cut down on the racket made in the downtown area from the many clubs.
Tonight, the Royal Oak City Council will hear arguments both for and against a noise ordinance, during a public hearing. Royal Oak has a number of bars and restaurants that call that city home. The issue came up because of some complaints by residents that their “quality of life” was suffering because of noise.
